"I would want to share this experience with all of the people I love and care about. As human beings we live and die based on our ability to make connections with one and other. On a deeper level we have a choice on how deep and prosperous those connections can be. Effort and desire to do good to people is part of the equation, but a large half is skill based (leadership, emotional intelligence, mindset development, habits, etc.). You will learn a lot of valuable things as you traverse through life, but why not take advantage of written knowledge on leadership (LDS for example) and take full advantage of your potential in everything you do and deepen the connections that are present at work, in your family, or community. I would want to share this with everybody I care about because it’s applicable to every walk of life and if implemented will improve the quality of your life, and more importantly allow you to effectively support and give back to others in the best way you can.
I would also specifically recommend this to anyone just beginning a career. There’s a lot that will be “learned by doing” as you head into the working world. A lot of learn by doing is failing and adjusting. There’s nothing wrong with that, but this course will train your mind and allow you to study many different social interactions and how to navigate them in a way that aids others and earns yourself trust and maybe respect. Just participating in one or two of these seasons will allow you to train a whole new school of thought outside of the typical career-based concepts you learned at university."

DEVELOPING FUTURE LEADERS
In 2020, about 130,000 B.S. degrees in engineering were awarded in the U.S. This puts 500,000 engineers in their first five years of practice. Imagine how the world might be different if just five percent of those young adults gained three years of developing a leader’s mindset and experiencing a transformation like Ben. Imagine how society could evolve as they do over thirty more years of a leadership journey of regular study, growth, and impact? Imagine how it would be if we had more engineers — true, trained, and experienced problem solvers — developing as leaders with clear intent.
WHY EVOLVENT?
At Evolvent we are in the business of developing people — leaders. We see leadership as a marathon, which requires steady investment in the near term to prepare for the long-game. Evolvent is where leaders learn and launch. We blend the model of executive peer groups with well-established methods for transformational, deep-rooted learning. Working in peer groups of 4-6, the future leaders work and grow together through small group discussion meetings along with our look back, look around, look ahead email cues from the group’s seasoned guide, who also participates in the meetings. Our nine seasons offer three years of a regular, intentional, gradual, knowledge-building, mindset-growing, and journey-launching experience for the world’s future leaders.
That is Evolvent’s vision — a world changed by young adults of today evolving into knowledgeable, skilled, and proven leaders of the future.
